Quilting & Textile Art
Discover my journey of over fifteen years of love for textile art & quilting.
PAT REYNOLDS,
TEXTILE ARTIST & QUILTER I started quilting in 2000. In 2002, after teaching for 33 years, I moved with my husband to our home on Drag Lake in Haliburton, ON. I began making traditional quilts and quickly moved to creating textile art. Most of my present works are original designs. I have won numerous ribbons for my work, including Grand Champion in 2012 in Ontario for machine quilting at the Agricultural Societies Conference in Toronto. Furthermore I won an Honourable Mention award in 2013 for my textile art piece, "Autumn Birches", at the Art Gallery of Bancroft. I have played an active role in the Haliburton Highlands Quilt Guild, including three years as President. I have made presentations and taught workshops for quilt guilds and a variety of quilt shops in Haliburton, Peterborough, Bancroft, Huntsville and Bracebridge. I am available for workshops and/or guild presentations as well as private classes. Commissions are also welcome. |
